Uxbridge stalwart agrees Stones move
Wealdstone have agreed the signing of experienced Uxbridge FC striker Chris Moore.
The 32-year-old has had spells at Brentford, Dagenham & Redbridge – where he made 139 league appearances – Chelmsford City, Farnborough and Northwood.
“We are delighted he decided to join us as we strive to build upon our good start to the season,” said Wealdstone manager Gordon Bartlett.
“He deliberated over the move for a long time. He has spent many happy years at Uxbridge and it was a obviously a difficult decision.
“Chris is an experienced striker with a proven goalscoring record and will be a valuable addition to the squad. He offers us something different in our striking options.
“With over 30 competitive games still to go, the squad is gradually taking shape, with more depth and solidity about it.”
