Wealdstone manager Gordon Bartlett has hailed the club’s signing of two youngsters.
The Stones have brought in attacking midfielder Jack Hutchison, who impressed for Wingate & Finchley last season and has previously been at Barnet, as well as the versatile Jerome Okimo.
Chalfont St Peter’s player of the year last season, Okimo can play as a defender or on the left of midfield.
“These are two very good young players,” said Bartlett.
“We have previously had great success with signing young, up and coming players.
“We took Richard Jolly when he was an 18-year-old and we are doing as we have done previously at Wealdstone, to everyone’s benefit.”
He added: “The rest of last year’s squad all want to stay with us and we are looking forward to the start of pre-season training in two weeks’ time.”
