Hendry goes as United get Mingoia

Hayes & Yeading United have trimmed five players from their squad – including fans’ favourite Will Hendry.

And the Conference strugglers have signed Watford midfielder Piero Mingoia on loan in their fight against the drop

Midfielder Hendry, who was part of the United side which won promotion to the Conference National in 2009, rejoined the club in December 2011 after spells with Dagenham, Maidenhead, AFC Wimbledon and Eastleigh.

However, he has now been released along with former QPR youth-team player James Folkes, defender Nathan Koo-Boothe and midfielders Tyrone Berry and Mo Bettamer.
