Hendon centre-back Charlie Goode has signed a two-year deal with League One side Scunthorpe.
The 19-year-old only joined Hendon in November from AFC Hayes, but his impressive performances helped the club reach the Ryman Premier Division play-off final.
The former Fulham trainee was also called up to the England C squad, playing 25 minutes against the Republic of Ireland Under-21s on Monday.
Hendon boss Gary McCann said: “The minute Charlie walked through the door you could see he was destined for bigger things.
“He’s been an absolute credit to himself. His performances have belied his age and I am not surprised that a League One club has signed him on a two year deal.
“I’m confident that he will settle quickly and I am also sure he will progress further.
