Wealdstone boss Bartlett signs new two-year deal
Long-serving Wealdstone boss Gordon Bartlett has signed up for two more years in charge.
Bartlett, 59, is celebrating two decades as the Stones’ manager having taken over back in 1995.
He has now signed a new deal with the Conference South club to take him through to 2017.
Wealdstone chairman Howard Krais said: “His track record is second to none and I have seen time and time again how many players are attracted to Wealdstone simply because of Gordon Bartlett.
“The respect for Gordon throughout the game is totally deserved. He is a pleasure to work with, a true Wealdstone legend and I look forward to continue driving the club forward with Gordon for years to come.”
Before his 20-plus years at Wealdstone, Bartlett led both Southall and Yeading to FA Vase finals at Wembley and numerous County Cup finals.
He has taken the Stones to four promotions, most recently in 2014 when they won the Ryman Premier Division.
