Where you can support Non-League Day this weekend

NLD logo

If you’re a football fan who has never been to watch any of our local non-League sides, this weekend is the perfect time to do it.

With no Premier League or Championship matches scheduled because of the international break, and England playing on Sunday, fans who would normally go to the likes of Chelsea, Fulham, QPR and Brentford are being urged to support other local teams.

Non-League Day was conceived in 2010 by QPR fan James Doe and has proved a huge success, receiving widespread national press coverage and increasing crowds at grounds across the country.

This year, a number of our sides are in FA Cup action – meaning you can start the road to Wembley at the likes of Hounslow, Hendon or Uxbridge.

Wealdstone have marked Non-League Day by offering reduced entry prices for their match against Poole Town, in National League South, just two divisions below the Football League.

Here’s where you can find all the action in west London on Saturday.

FA Cup first qualifying round

CB Hounslow United v Met Police
In the FA Cup for the first time this year, CB Hounslow United – of the Combined Counties Premier Division – take on Met Police, two leagues above them. Their opponents have just signed Chelsea’s FA Youth Cup-winning goalkeeper Nathan Baxter.
Ground: The Orchard, Hatton Road, Feltham, TW14 9QT
Admission: £2 for adults, free for children

Hanwell Town v Enfield Town
Draw specialists so far this season, Southern League Division One Central side Hanwell Town are hoping to at least match their run to the third qualifying round last term. Enfield play a level above them.
Ground: Perivale Lane, Greenford, UB6 8TL
Admission:
£8 for adults, £4 for concessions

Harrow Borough v Sawbridgeworth Town
Among the highest-ranked clubs to enter at this stage, Harrow have reached the first-round proper twice since 2000, losing to Wycombe and Chesterfield. They are four wins away from that stage, but will be confident against Essex Senior League Sawbridgeworth.
Ground: Earlsmead, Carlyon Avenue, South Harrow, HA2 8SS
Admission:
£10 for adults, £5 for concessions and students, £2 for under-16s

Silver Jubilee Park, Townsend Lane, West Hendon, NW9 7NE
Admission:
£10 for adults, £5 for concessions and students, £1 for under-18s

Honeycroft, Horton Road, West Drayton, UB7 8HX
Admission:
£8 for adults, £5 for concessions, free for under-16s

The other local sides…

Northwood are already out and so don’t have a game this weekend.

National League South

Wealdstone v Poole Town
The largest crowd locally is likely to be at The Vale, where Poole Town are the visitors.
