Hayes & Yeading sign defender Pele

Hayes & Yeading have signed former Southampton and West Brom defender Pele.

The 33-year-old, who has also had spells with MK Dons and Falkirk, was a free agent having left Hendesford Town last year.

Born in Portugal, Pele played international football for Cape Verde.

He featured in the Premier League during his two years with West Brom, who signed him from Southampton for £1m in 2007.
