Wealdstone 2 Crewe 3
League Two side Crewe had to fight back from 2-0 down to win an entertaining pre-season friendly.
Wealdstone led after goals from strikers Richard Jolly and Kieran Knight, but Dario Gradi’s team responded in emphatic fashion.
The Stones edged a fast-paced first half and were rewarded when a pass from David Hicks released Jolly, who slid the ball under Crewe goalkeeper Alan Martin.
Danny Spendlove and Scott McCubbin were both denied by Martin before Knight’s 56th-minute goal put the non-League outfit further ahead.
Knight collected midfielder Hick’s long ball, held off two defenders, and fired home.
But Max Clayton then pulled one back for Alex and after Kyle Vassell equalised, Harry Clayton netted a late winner.
