Borough’s Watts gets Barnet deal
Harrow Borough left-back Ryan Watts has signed a short-term deal with Barnet.
Watts, 23, picked up a hamstring injury during a recent trial with the League Two club but did enough to impress.
He has been handed a one-month contract by Bees boss Lawrie Sanchez, whose team will play six matches before that deal expires.
The arrangement is with a view to Watts joining Barnet permanently, although Borough have made it clear that the door is open for him to return.
Watts was watched by a host of League clubs last season and is one of several players new Borough manager Dave Anderson knew he could lose when he took over this summer.
