Middlesex bowler Toby Roland-Jones has received his first England call-up.
The Ashford-born paceman joins team-mate Steven Finn in the 12-man squad for the first Test against Pakistan, beginning next Thursday.
Roland-Jones has taken 30 wickets in eight Championship matches this season, and starred with both bat and ball as Middlesex beat Yorkshire on Wednesday.
He has also twice been on tour with England Lions, including taking 3-48 against Pakistan A in January.
Now 28, he has risen through the ranks at Middlesex, making his first-team debut in 2010.
He has 278 first-class wickets in his career, at an average of just over 25, and is also handy with the bat, boasting an average of almost 23.
