Fulham have confirmed Bryan Ruiz’s loan move to PSV Eindhoven.
He will spend the rest of the season with the Dutch outfit and opted for a return to Holland despite interest from clubs elsewhere in Europe, including Spain’s Real Betis.
The Costa Rica forward, 28, moved to Craven Cottage from FC Twente in 2011 and was highly regarded by former Fulham manager Martin Jol.
But he was out of favour under current Whites boss Rene Meulensteen, who last week confirmed that Ruiz would be allowed to leave.
