Ruiz ‘in limbo’ over loan move – Symons
Fulham boss Kit Symons says striker Bryan Ruiz is ‘in limbo’ as he waits for clearance to join Levante on loan.
Ruiz agreed a deal with the Spanish side late last week but Fifa are yet to give the move their blessing.
Symons said: “I spoke with Bryan and he’s just in limbo at the moment. Everyone is just waiting on the nod from Fifa.
“We’re hopeful it will be very soon but we don’t really know.
“He’s in quite good spirits but he’s obviously getting frustrated and just wants it resolved.
“He’s a footballer who can’t play football at the moment so it’s not an ideal situation but we’re very hopeful it will get resolved soon.”
Ruiz, 29, has scored four times in 17 Championship appearances for the Whites this season and is out of contract in the summer.
