Petric on target again as Fulham draw
Kaiserslautern 2 Fulham 2
Summer signing Mladen Petric scored twice as Fulham came back from two down in a pre-season friendly in Weingarten that was temporarily halted by a thunderstorm.
Early goals from Ilian Micanski and Albert Bunjaku put Kaiserslautern in control before Croatian striker Petric exchanged passes with Marcello Trotta and finished coolly.
After play was suspended for seven minutes early in the second half, Fulham pressed for an equaliser and got it when Petric nipped in to score following great work on the flank by Alex Kacaniklic.
The goalscoring form of Petric, who also netted against Lokomotiv Leipzig on Wednesday, is an encouraging sign for Whites boss Martin Jol.
Jol has also been boosted by the return of Bryan Ruiz, who started a game for the first time since breaking his foot three months ago.
