Parker hails Fulham’s spirit after win at Birmingham
Scott Parker hailed Fulham’s character after their 1-0 win at Birmingham.
Aleksandar Mitrovic pounced on a mistake by former QPR keeper Lee Camp to score the winner at St Andrews.
“It is a tough place to come and we were coming off a disappointing result last weekend,” Whites boss Parker said.
“The whole week was framed around character, enthusiasm, belief and desire – and we got that today.
“We all understand what we are as a team technically and what we can do individually but at times this year that has not been enough – and it won’t be enough if we want to be successful this year.
“We have got a clean sheet and a 1-0 win and the most pleasing thing is we showed some real desire to get that result. Give that every week and we will be alright.”
