Time is running out for Fulham to offload Stefan Johansen and Jean Michael Seri before the transfer window shuts on Monday.
Whites boss Scott Parker reckons he’s had "no conversations" with the club’s hierarchy about the pair, which suggests prospective suitors are dragging their heels.
Johansen (pictured) made almost half of his 33 appearances from the bench in 2019/20 - and has been given the green light to go.
Seri’s brother, his agent, has made it plain the costly midfielder wants out, and claimed there had been talks with Inter Milan over an £18m permanent switch.
But it little helped the Ivorian’s chances of a rebirth in Serie A when he wasted a golden chance to level the score in the 3-0 defeat by Brentford in the Carabao Cup on Thursday.
Parker was unsure either would depart by Monday.
“I’ve not had any conversations with anyone in the club regarding those players, but while the transfer window is open there’s always a chance you’ll lose players, just as much as bringing them in," he said.
Parker desperately needs fresh blood following a disappointing exit from the Carabao Cup to go with three straight league defeats.
Centre-halves are top of his wish list, with the move to bring former loanee Terence Kongolo back from Huddersfield - this time on a permanent deal - still on the table despite interest from Sheffield United.
“I’m hopeful we’ll have some new additions in the building by Monday,” Parker added.
