Aleksandar Mitrović missed a late penalty as a wasteful Fulham surrendered a second-half lead to crash out of the FA Cup.
After an uneventful first half, Denis Odoi chested and volleyed in from six yards shortly after the break following good work from Neeskens Kebano down the left.
Kebano should have made it two 10 minutes later after being sent in on goal by Tom Cairney, but he pushed his effort wide.
And moments after coming on, Ryan Sessegnon wrestled Peter Clarke to the floor in the box and substitute Sam Surridge converted the spot-kick.
The Whites, who made six changes from the New Year’s Day defeat at the Emirates and switched to a 4-3-3 shape, dominated most of the match but only managed to get two of their 20 shots on target.
One of which was a penalty, which the Premier League strugglers earned with eight minutes to go after VAR confirmed that Cairney was brought down, but goalkeeper Daniel Iversen saved well from Mitrović, who was substituted on to take it.
And two minutes from time, Callum Lang headed in a cross to put the League Two side into the draw for the fourth round.
