Magath wants more from battling Fulham
Fulham manager Felix Magath warned his players they still have a major battle on their hands to avoid relegation following a dramatic win against Norwich.
Hugo Rodallega’s first-half strike earned the Whites a second successive victory and moved them to within two points of safety.
But Magath felt they were second best at Craven Cottage despite the result.
“It was dramatic but we were very lucky. Norwich were the better team and they played very well,” he said.
“We were not as good as last week because the players felt a lot of pressure for this game. But the win and the three points is all that matters at this stage.
“We have to take care because we have to take more points. Two wins in a row is not enough to stay in the Premier League.
“This victory will give us confidence and we must manage the situation over the next few weeks – only then will we know if we are safe and if what we have done here has worked or not.”
