Fulham boss Felix Magath was left shell-shocked after his relegation-threatened side failed to get the win they desperately needed against Hull.
The Whites let a two-goal lead slip and remain in the bottom three after a 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage.
Magath said: “It is very disappointing. If you are leading 2-0 at home you have to come through.
“We lost the victory and lost two points – that was not what we wanted. The players are quiet and disappointed.
“I told them it is too late to win this game and now they have to stand up for the next one.
“We have to win the last two games now. As long as there is a chance we have to take it and I’m sure we can get more wins.”
Fulham, who are a point behind Norwich, face a difficult trip to Stoke City next weekend before their final game of the season, at home to Crystal Palace.
“We have the physical presence to compete with those teams,” Magath said.
“A victory today would have pushed us to the next game but we have to take the situation as it is and work over the next days.”
