Kačaniklic believes his future is at Fulham
Alex Kačaniklić says he is happy to be back at Fulham and is confident he has a long-term future at the club.
The 21-year-old winger was due to spend the rest of the season on loan at Burnley but was recalled by Whites boss Martin Jol because of an injury to Damien Duff.
Kačaniklić responded by producing a fine performance in the 1-0 defeat against Arsenal at the weekend.
And he said: “I am happy to be back as this is where I want to play.
“I think I am in the manager’s thoughts and the club’s thoughts. I think they believe in me and have shown that, because I have played 25 games here.
“So I should be happy with the season and the aim is to come back here and get a place for the whole of next season.”
The Sweden international added: “The time on loan was good. You learn something from every game you play.
“I asked the manager if I could go on loan to keep my development going. It was my decision because I was not playing too much here.
“Whether it is here or for the national team, I want to play and I want to start.”
