Jokanovic gets his man as Fulham sign Johansen
Fulham have completed the signing of Norway midfielder Stefan Johansen from Celtic – one of Slavisa Jokanvic’s top transfer targets.
Johansen has moved to Craven Cottage for an undisclosed fee and has signed a three-year contract with the option of a further year.
Whites head coach Jokanovic was keen to bring in the 25-year-old, who made 73 league appearances for the Scottish champions, and scored 12 goals, after being signed from Strømsgodset in 2014.
Jokanovic has been at odds with the Fulham hierarchy over the club’s transfer policy and has made clear his frustration at not having control over signings.
But he is an admirer of Johansen and the club completing a deal to sign him is a significant boost for Jokanovic, whose team are unbeaten this season.
