Injury woe for Fulham midfielder
Fulham midfielder Steve Sidwell is facing up to six weeks on the sidelines.
Sidwell has been told an abdominal injury that troubled him during Wednesday’s 1-1 draw against West Brom is likely to keep him out of action for at least a month.
The news is an untimely blow for Fulham, who are also without forwards Andrew Johnson and Pavel Pogrebnyak.
Johnson is struggling with a groin problem, while Russian Pogrebnyak is still awaiting a work permit following his deadline day move from German club Stuttgart.
On a brighter note for the Whites, Moussa Dembele has been given the all-clear to return following his recent injury and is in the squad for the game against Manchester City.
