Fulham have completed the signing of Greece captain Giorgos Karagounis.
The 35-year-old midfielder, who has agreed a contract until the end of the season, was a free agent having recently left Panathinaikos.
He has also played for Inter Milan and Benfica, featuring in both the Champions League and Europa League.
Karagounis became Greece’s joint highest-capped player last June, scoring the only goal against Russia which saw them reach the quarter-finals of Euro 2012.
He has made 120 appearances for his country and was a key player in the team which won the 2004 European Championship in Portugal.
