Fulham interim boss Stuart Gray says he will take risks in search of points while he is in charge.

Gray, who was appointed senior coach this week, expects to be in the dugout again for the Ipswich clash on Tuesday night after drawing his first match 2-2 with Brentford.

And the former Sheffield Wednesday manager admitted the Whites must stop conceding set pieces and start winning games.

“I felt the game was there to be won but more so, if you look at the Championship, there lots of draws,” he said.

“We are getting to the business end of the season and we’ve got to start putting points on the board in threes. If you want momentum and to climb up the league, you’ve got to go for it.

“It just seems a spooky that that’s 14 set-plays we’ve conceded from this season. Our Achilles heel this season has been defending corners.

“It doesn’t matter how you defend, there will always be goals conceded from set-plays. If the delivery is right, and the timing of the run is right, then sometimes you just need that bit of luck.

“I’m disappointed I’m talking about one point and not three.”
