Fulham have been told they have no chance of signing Leicester City’s England Under-21 defender Liam Moore.
The Whites have had a bid of £2m rejected and City have made it clear they have no intention of selling the 20-year-old former Brentford loanee even if an improved offer is tabled.
Centre-half Moore, who has also played as a full-back, has starred as Leicester have established a four-point lead at the top of the Championship.
And manager Nigel Pearson regards him as a key player for the Midlands club in both the short and long term.
Moore played seven times for Brentford last season and has made 22 appearances for Leicester this term.
