Chapple takes scouting role at Fulham
Fulham have appointed Charlton chief scout Phil Chapple as one of their new senior scouts.
As part of a reshuffle in the club’s player recruitment department, Chapple will report to the Whites’ chief football officer Mike Rigg along with the club’s other senior scouts.
The 48-year-old former Charlton, Cambridge and Peterborough defender Chapple joined the Addicks as chief scout in 2007.
He has also worked worked for the club in a coaching role under former boss Phil Parkinson, before returning to the chief scout job in 2009.
