Fulham suffer defeat at Aston Villa

Antonee Robinson scored an own goal as Fulham were well beaten at Villa Park.

Robinson turned Youri Tielemans’ cross into his own net while attempting to thwart Moussa Diaby.

There was no way back for the Whites once John McGinn fired home, and Ollie Watkins then tapped in Leon Bailey’s cross to make it three.

Raul Jimenez hit the post before eventually pulling a goal back after collecting Robinson’s pass.

Fulham were much improved in the second half but Villa were by far the better side and deserved their win.
