Fulham striker Matt Smith has agreed a two-month loan deal with League One leaders Bristol City.
The 25-year-old joined the club on transfer deadline day from Leeds United but has played just 38 minutes in three appearances for the Whites.
He was sent-off on his Fulham debut at Reading and has yet to play in a first-team game at Craven Cottage.
The former Oldham forward will be in City’s squad for their televised match at Peterborough United on Friday.
Smith scored 13 times in the Championship last season, forming a prolific strike partnership at Elland Road with Ross McCormack, and Felix Magath brought both to Fulham.
However, while McCormack has been a regular under both Magath and his successor Kit Symons, Smith has failed to break into the team.
