Fulham winger Patrick Roberts has completed a move to Manchester City.
The 18-year-old, who has started just three first-team games for the Whites, signed a deal with City after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
On Saturday, Whites boss Kit Symons conceded he had lost the fight to keep the England Under-19 international, tipped as one of the club’s hottest prospects.
After the 3-1 friendly win over Crawley, Symons said: “He’s in serious talks with them so we’ll have to wait and see.
“He’s handed in a transfer request and he’s only got one year left on his contract.
“We want to keep all of our best players and build for the future but there comes a point where you have to do the right thing for the football club.”
