Fulham have signed centre-back Shaun Hutchinson on a free transfer after he rejected a new contract at Motherwell.
He has signed an initial two-year deal at Craven Cottage with the option of a further 12 months.
A number of clubs had been monitoring the Newcastle-born 23-year-old, who has impressed north of the border since making his debut in 2009.
“I was a difficult decision to leave Motherwell and I had to really think hard about it,” he said.
“However, this is a great opportunity at Fulham and I can’t wait to get started.”
Fulham are due to visit Motherwell for a pre-season friendly at Fir Park on 12 July.
