The departure of £12m Fulham flop Kostas Mitroglou is likely to spark another flurry of activity on transfer deadline day at Craven Cottage.
Fitness issues meant the Greek striker, signed by former boss Rene Meulensteen in January, played only three times for the Whites after his big-money move from Olympiakos.
Current Whites manager Felix Magath expects Mitroglou to leave before the window closes on Monday night – and said up to three new signings could come in.
He said: “We have a problem in our club that we have some players who will leave. And if they leave I need new players.
“I am sure that we will sign two or three new players at the beginning of next week so we will have another squad at the end of this period.
“I think Mitroglou will leave. But I am not the man who has contact with the clubs and I’m not talking about the contracts.”
