Fulham have opened talks with Ryan Sessegnon with a view to extending his contract at Craven Cottage.
Sessegnon, 18, attracted strong interest from Tottenham and was linked with other top clubs before signing a three-year deal in June 2017.
Fulham are keen for him to now sign an improved contract and commit his long-term future to the club.
Negotiations are at an early stage but there is every expectation that an agreement will be reached.
Sessegnon, who can play at left-back or as a winger, has enhanced his growing reputation with some outstanding performances for Fulham.
He played a key role in their promotion to the top flight last season and has made a total of 89 appearances for the Whites.
He has started five of Fulham’s Premier League matches this season.
