Fulham hold contract talks with Sidwell
Fulham have held talks with Steve Sidwell about extending his contract.
The 30-year-old midfielder’s current deal expires at the end of the season and manager Martin Jol is keen for him to stay at Craven Cottage.
“We are talking with Sidwell to extend his contract,” the Dutchman confirmed
“I think he wants to stay. We will wait and see.”
Sidwell joined Fulham from Aston Villa in 2011 and has made 76 appearances for the Whites, scoring 10 goals.
The former Arsenal trainee played for Reading and Chelsea before moving to Villa in 2008.
