Fulham confirm midfielder Diarra is staying at the Cottage

Fulham have confirmed that they have taken up their option to extend Mahamadou Diarra’s contract to the end of next season.

The former Real Madrid midfielder joined the Whites in January on an initial short-term deal.

Manager Martin Jol had made it clear he intended to keep Diarra, who has made 11 appearances for Fulham since his move to London.
