Fulham confirm extension to Piazon loan deal
Fulham have confirmed that winger Lucas Piazon will remain with the club until the end of the season.
Piazon’s loan deal from Chelsea, agreed late in the August transfer window, expired on Sunday shortly after he featured in the Whites’ 2-0 win over Barnsley.
But the Brazilian has been keeping fans updated on his future via his Twitter account, describing an agreement to keep him at Craven Cottage as “almost done” on 8 January.
On Saturday, he again tweeted to say he hoped to sign the extension on Monday, and boss Slavisa Jokanovic confirmed Piazon would be staying.
@frankieptaylor almost done mate hope to be done asap 😁

Piazon has played 18 times for the Whites this season, scoring four goals.
The 22-year-old has previously been on loan at Malaga, Vitesse Arnhem, Eintracht Frankfurt and Reading.
He has made only three appearances for the Chelsea first team, coming on as a substitute – and missing a penalty – in the 8-0 win over Aston Villa in December 2012 and playing twice in the League Cup.
