Fulham have sold defender Fernando Amorebieta to Sporting Gijon for an undisclosed fee.
Amorebieta, 31, joined Fulham on a free transfer in the summer of 2013 and made 48 appearances for the club, scoring twice.
He had two loan spells at Championship rivals Middlesbrough, playing his last game for Fulham in the 3-0 defeat to Brentford in April.
The permanent signing of Michael Madl and the arrival of Chelsea centre-back Tomas Kalas on a season-long loan deal pushed the Venezuelan further down the pecking order.
