Fulham complete signing of Stekelenburg
Fulham have completed the signing of Dutch international goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg from Roma.
The 30-year-old, who has agreed a four-year contract and moved for a fee in the region of £3m, was set to sign for Fulham in January but the deal fell through.
His arrival casts more doubt over the future of veteran keeper Mark Schwarzer, whose Whites contract expires this summer.
Capped 54 times by the Netherlands, Stekelenburg joined Roma in 2011 from Ajax, where he played under Fulham boss Martin Jol in the 2009-10 campaign.
His time at Ajax also included two Dutch title triumphs.
