Fulham’s director of football operations and vice-chairman Tony Khan has insisted on Twitter that the club has no intention of selling Ryan Sessegnon.
There has been much speculation about the future of the highly-rated teenager, who helped Fulham win promotion back to the Premier League last season.
“We’re not selling @ryansessegnon,” Khan wrote on Twitter. “We’ve never considered it!
“I couldn’t sit back and read these false rumors anymore, had to say something.
“Ryan’s key to this @fulhamfc squad; he’s one of the top young talents worldwide and in our plans for @premierleague success. Come on Fulham!”
Fulham have invested heavily this summer, signing Jean Michael Seri, Maxime Le Marchand, Fabri, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Alfie Mawson.
Andre Schurrle and Calum Chambers have arrived on loan and Fulham have not given up on signing Matt Targett, who impressed while on loan at Craven Cottage last season, despite Southampton’s reluctance to sell.
