‘No chance’ of Muniz leaving Fulham

Marco Silva has insisted that Fulham have no intention of selling Rodrigo Muniz.

It comes amid reports that West Ham are interested in the Brazilian striker, who joined Fulham during the summer of 2021.

Whites boss Silva said the club had not received any approach for Muniz and added: “We are not open to listening to anything about Rodrigo.

“It’s better if no-one contacts us, because it will be a quick and easy answer from us.

“There’s no chance at all, even start to talk to clubs.”

Muniz had had to battle for a place with Raul Jimenez, who turns 34 in May.

Silva says he has “no doubt” that Muniz, 23, will eventually establish himself as first-choice striker.

“He’s been here for four years and he’s going to be for the future,” Silve added.

“He has much more years here and a bright future in front of him.

“He has all the conditions to be the number nine for this football club for many years.”
