Fulham boss rules out Emanuelson deal
Martin Jol has insisted there is no possibility of Fulham signing Urby Emanuelson from AC Milan on a permanent basis.
The midfielder, who moved to Craven Cottage on loan in January, has made nine appearances for the Whites and was outstanding in the 1-0 defeat against Arsenal on Saturday.
But while agreements in the loan deals for Sascha Riether and Stanislav Manolev allow Fulham boss Jol to sign them in the summer, there is no such option for Emanuelson.
Jol said: “You could see [on Saturday] that Urby is a nice, technical crowd-pleaser.
“But there is not an option on him, because it would be impossible to buy him.”
