Slavisa Jokanovic says he is ready to use Aboubakar Kamara as an “important weapon” in the play-off final against Aston Villa.
Kamara was influential on the right wing in the semi-final second-leg win over Derby and Jokanovic wants to use him to similar effect at Wembley.
Jokanovic, who wants his side to pressure and tire Villa centre-backs John Terry and James Chester, said: “We signed Kamara like a striker, who can play up against the centre-backs.
“I tried to adapt us to use him the best way, but two months ago I explained to him that now this position is covered and we are going to start with Aleksandar Mitrovic, and he needed to open his mind and think about different positions.
“He is a really strong and fast player and we started working with him in different positions, and step-by-step he started to improve himself.
“He played very well against Derby and he is ready for the game and can be an important weapon for our side.
“I cant say who we are going to start with. It”s going to be a long game and we are going to see.
“It’s important for us to force them. If we don’t make them tired it’s going to be easy, especially for their two centre-backs.
“So I am going to try to use my best weapons, and the game can be long so we are going to use the bench too to try and force the situation.”
