Fulham manager Martin Jol acknowledged that his team were second best for much of their draw with Everton.
Steve Sidwell’s late equaliser rescued a point for the Whites after Marouane Fellaini’s second-half brace had looked like giving David Moyes’ side a deserved victory.
And Jol admitted: “They dominated us. In home games that’s not what I want. I want us to go forward and get the ball to the front players.
“Everton are a very good team. They know exactly what to do and they pressed us.
“They could have scored a third and fourth goal, but you still saw our quality with the cross from the right that led to our [second] goal.
“We’re a good team and to give away a lead and lose would not be typical for us, so I’m very happy we got something.”
