Fulham boss confident striker signing is close
Slavia Jokanovic has reiterated that he expects Fulham to sign at least one attacking player before Saturday’s game against Preston.
The Whites have brought in seven new players so far this summer and have lost forwards Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele to Aston Villa and Celtic respectively.
Rayo Vallecano’s Jozabed Sanchez and Manchester United’s James Wilson, who could leave Old Trafford on loan, are among several options they are considering.
Boss Jokanovic said: “I need to sign senior players. I need strikers. We need to improve ourselves and we are looking in the market to get stronger.
“I expect we are going to sign a player very, very soon. We are in full competition now, playing Saturday and Tuesday, and need to strengthen.
“We are a big club; one of the oldest in London, in a great area in the city and England. We are one of the best chances for all football players.
“Would it be difficult? It is not especially complicated for us to attract players.”
