Fulham complete signing of Bryan from Bristol City

Fulham have completed the signing of left-back Joe Bryan for an undisclosed fee. 

Bryan, 24, was set for a medical at Aston Villa after a deal was agreed for him to join the Midlands club.

However, Fulham, back in the Premier League after beating Villa in May’s play-off final, offered him the chance to play in the top flight.

Fulham made their move on Wednesday evening and have brought Bryan in on a four-year contract.

He was targeted after Southampton refused to sell Matt Targett, who impressed while on loan at Craven Cottage last season.
