Fulham to assess Lemina hamstring problem

Fulham will assess a hamstring injury Mario Lemina picked up during the 2-0 victory against West Brom.

Lemina, on loan from Southampton, was substituted at half-time at Craven Cottage, where the Whites clinched their first Premier League win of the season.

Fulham boss Scott Parker explained: “He’s struggling a little bit. He felt his hamstring a little bit in the first half, so we didn’t want to take any risks. We’ll have to see how he is.”

Parker praised his players after the much-needed – and fully deserved – win.

The result lifted Fulham out of the bottom three.

But Parker said: “That’s irrelevant for me at this moment.

“What is relevant is the team moving in the right direction and improving and us moving in the right way – and I’ve seen that.

“I have seen that in the weeks before this. Of course the results have not been there, but I absolutely have seen an improvement.”
