Cauley Woodrow, 16-year-old Ryan Sessegnon and Ryan Fredericks all netted as Fulham beat Brighton 3-0 in a friendly played at Aldershot’s Recreation Ground.
Woodrow (pictured), who started up front with summer signing Sone Aluko, went closest in the first half-hour as he latched on to Tayo Edun’s free-kick, but his shot went just wide of the post.
The pair did combine for the opening goal on 32 minutes, the striker heading in Edun’s corner, after a Lasse Vigen Christensen shot had been saved.
Aluko hit the angle of post and bar with a free-kick shortly afterwards and in the second half – after a clutch of substitutions, which included a first Fulham appearance for goalkeeper David Button – the ex-Hull man created the second goal.
He played in Sessegnon – who had come on in the first half after Ryan Fredericks had borne the brunt of a Rob Hunt challenge – and the highly-rated teenager provided an emphatic finish.
Fulham were strong on set pieces throughout and another delivery fell to Michael Madl, who produced a save from Niki Maenpaa in the Brighton goal.
Stearman added a third, just seven minutes after coming on, following a pass from fellow sub Tom Cairney.
Fulham: Bettinelli (Button 46), Odoi (Stearman 72), Kalas, Ream (Madl 46), Edun (Adeniran 61), Fredericks (Sessegnon 17), Parker (Tunnicliffe 46), Christensen (Cairney 46), Ayite (De La Torre 61), Woodrow (Smith 46), Aluko (Humphrys 61).
