Fulham will give fitness tests to five players, including leading scorer Ross McCormack, ahead of Saturday’s home game with Preston.
McCormack picked up an ankle injury in the 1-1 draw at MK Dons last weekend and will have it assessed before he can be declared fit.
Ryan Tunnicliffe – who was substituted during that game – is almost certain to miss the visit of Preston with a hamstring injury.
But Fulham will check on Richard Stearman, Tom Cairney, Ryan Fredericks and Jamie O’Hara, who are also carrying knocks.
James Husband returns after serving a one-match ban following his sending off against Birmingham City, but fellow full-back Jazz Richards is at least another week away from returning to training.
