Claudio Ranieri urged Fulham’s players not to give up fighting against relegation after West Ham came from behind to beat them 3-1 at the London Stadium.
Ryan Babel’s early goal put the Whites ahead but Javier Hernandez’s equaliser was allowed to stand despite the striker using his hand to nudge the ball into the net.
Issa Diop put the Hammers ahead and Michail Antonio added a third – the 61st Premier League goal conceded by Fulham this season.
Their chances of staying up look bleak, but manager Ranieri said: “I know it’s very, very difficult, but we have to fight.
“It’s tough but we must believe. We must continue to fight, because I don’t like players who give up.”
