Ross McCormack has told Fulham he wants to leave Craven Cottage.
The 29-year-old striker was signed from Leeds in a big-money deal in 2014 and last summer extended his contract until 2019.
But he has requested a transfer in an attempt to secure a move ahead of Monday’s deadline.
Middlesbrough have made offers for McCormack but have so far been unable to prise him away from Fulham, who are moving towards deal to sell Moussa Dembele to Tottenham for a fee of around £5m.
McCormack has scored 36 goals for the Whites, 17 of them coming this season.
