Fulham boss Claudio Ranieri is considering a move for Leicester defender Danny Simpson, according to the Daily Mail.
The former QPR right-back won the Premier League title at Leicester under the Italian and Ranieri is said to be interested in taking him to Craven Cottage.
The Mail say Leicester are deciding whether to make him available and that there is also interest from Newcastle and a number of Championship clubs.
Simpson, whose contract expires at the end of the season, has won promotion to the top flight with Newcastle and Leicester as well as QPR.
Meanwhile, The Times say Brentford are set to sack head coach Thomas Frank if they fail to beat Bolton
And Cesc Fabregas is being linked with a move to Monaco.
Fabregas’ Chelsea contract is due to expire at the end of the season and there has been much speculation about his future.
The Daily Mirror have picked on reports in France suggesting that Monaco boss Thierry Henry, who played alongside Fabregas at Arsenal, is keen to sign him during next month’s transfer window.
Blues boss Maurizio Sarri has said that he would like Fabregas, 31, to be given new contract at Stamford Bridge.
