Fulham deserved to win, says Jokanović
Fulham boss Slaviša Jokanović felt his side were unfortunate not to get all three points against Leeds.
Jokanović’s team drew 1-1 at Elland Road, where Tom Cairney put them ahead with his fourth goal in as many matches before Lewis Cook scored a stunning equaliser from long range.
“I think we made enough chances to win this game but this is football and sometimes it happens,” Jokanović said.
“We created many chances. They scored a fantastic goal. In the end, in my opinion we played better football than Leeds and we were closer to winning the three points.
“Leeds were fighting very well and put us under pressure. They are fighting and deserve this point too.
“We cannot be happy when we don’t win a game. But I try to make some progress and some improvements, and I think step by step we are starting to make better things”
Fulham, who are 18th in the Championship table, are at home to promotion-chasing Middlesbrough on Saturday.
